Danish design since 1973
Hjort Knudsen was founded in 1973 by Ina and Arne Hjort Knudsen and for 24 years expanded its product range within the Danish border with 22 people employed. In 1997 the second generation, Ellen and Klaus Hjort Knudsen, took over and from there on steered the company in an international direction. The experience of the small entrepreneurial company is still incorporated strongly into the core values of the now much larger one: Innovation, Profitable, Com- mitment and Decency.
Thanks to the enthusiastic efforts of many, Hjort Knudsen has become an international success.
