Fabric, leather, wood and metal

The same piece of furniture can look completely different, depending on which fabric or leather is used. With five different leather types in 52 different colours and more than 78 types of fabric in 420 colours and patterns, we offer our customers an exceptionally wide selection. It is the customer who decides what we produce – not us.

The textiles are tested for durability, colour fastness and pilling. All textiles comply with the EU’s chemicals legislation REACH.

For the UK market, foam and textiles are used that comply with UK legislation in regard to fire safety.

Just like our textiles, all our leather is manufactured in accordance with current legislation (REACH) and regulations. This ensures an eco-friendly leather with a minimal amount of chemicals.

In order to complete the perfect look on a piece of Hjort Knudsen furniture, it is possible to choose between many different wood colours for legs, feet and armrests. Depending on the model, you can choose between beech in brown, lacquered walnut, black, mahogany, untreated and oiled. You can also choose oak in white oiled, untreated, lacquered and oiled.

Both beech and oak are natural materials and variations will thus occur in patterns, colour and structure. This makes each piece of furniture unique.

Hjort Knudsen’s furniture is available with a great variety of legs and feet in metal, from brushed steel to black and matte gold.
